3 Delicious DIY Hair Spa Recipes


Avocado-Coconut Hair Mask

Benefits: 

Smooths Dry Strands and Seals Split Ends

Ingredients:

1 avocado, mashed

1 cup coconut milk

Prep:

Combine the ingrediants and comb mixture through hair for 20 minutes. Wash and Condition. 


Banana-Banana Conditioner

Benefits:

A healthy smoothie to nourish dry and over styled hair.

Ingredients:

2 OZ. Purified Water

1/2 Banana

1 TBSP. Greek yogurt

1 TSP Hometown Honey (must be honey from your local honey farm)

1/4 Cantaloupe

1 TBSP. Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 TSP. Germ Oil

Preparation:

In blender combine everything and pulse for 15 seconds. Using your fingers apply to hair in a downward motion, smoothing as you go. Leave on for 45 minutes. Rinse with warm water and lightly shampoo. Skip the conditioner or do a protective braid style to lock in the benefits and rise with cold water. Let air dry and don't wash for 2 days. 

Rosemary Rain Water

Benefits: A refreshing spray that adds natural shine to your hair and brings the natural highlights to life. This can also be used on your skin or anywhere on the body that needs rejuvenation.

Ingredients:

1 cup bottled fiji water

1 cup rain water or filtered creek water from your local watershed

1/3 minced Rosemary leaves

Preparation:

In a small saucepan boil everything together. Let cool and then pour into a spray bottle. Keep refrigerated.
