Me? a photographer..

After all that I have done, I never really considered becoming a photographer until recently. The lack of fashion and beauty jobs in my area, watching girls and guys dreams being scammed upon, and just the desire to achieve more with my art and grow as an artist.

I worked behind the camera as a model since as far back as I could ever remember, gaining knowledge and expirence of what is expected and how things go in a studio/stage/audition/photo shoot setting. I also took up a job for the last year and half as a makeup artist, hairstylist, and fashion stylist in a professional studio setting as well as took a few photography classes. Throughout life I have studied Art nonstop and work on something everyday. I feel my ability to draw, paint, sculpt, as well as handle any other medium has given me the ability to understand light and color. This knowledge helps me to easily understand my makeup and hair work that will be given in the shoot. Now holding the camera for myself is giving me the opportunity to take all the knowledge that I have aquired to basicially make a giant piece of artwork with one image at a time.

I suppose after taking thousands of pictures of trees, flowers, animals, and buildings, the next step is people. I dived in head first and grabbed up normal everyday girls who have always had the desire to model and created my own fashion/art/glamour photography called {lg images}.

I love being able to come up with a custom concept fitting the personality of the individual, because we all are unique and have something special that should be portrayed through more then just snapping a photo. The photography I do will have a fashion feel whether you are a baby or grown up, whether bright or dark. I am very open to any kinds of looks or themes a client/model may have. I love to do "out of the box" kind of ideas as well and plan on exploring lots of different concepts.

Throughout the process of creating that perfect image for you I give tips on how to look like a "model" while I pay close attention to detail and I provide styling for the hair, makeup, and wardrobe. The model/client is helped through the entire process of a photo shoot while learning at the same time if they desire. I like to show you, however mild or extreme you are. There are no same scene, same look, same pose, but only a different person. I 'create' each image as its own art piece or can easily be a set with others images that are created.

I am still practicing and working towards gaining new and better equipment but until then I am going to use the tools God has blessed me with to the best of my knowledge. Every shoot I learn something, so I feel this will be a successful venture for me. I truly enjoy making people happy and feel confident and treating others how I would want to be treated. Thank you for viewing and the support.

Here are a few of my favorite images I have done so far. You can view all the shoots in their entirity on Facebook.

My Eyeshadow Collection collab with My Beauty Addiction

I am so happy to share this collection with you because I helped create it! My Beauty Addiction and I teamed up to bring this awesome collection to you. This collection will be available online soon.

The inspiration for the colors of this collection came from one of my favorite childhood characters Rainbow Brite. I loved her show and movies with all her colorful friends.

You can purchase the entire collection or individuals. 10 shades in all.
The colors are so much more vivid and more beautful in person.
I only used the My Beauty Addiction Shadow Poxy as my base for these swatches.
All the names were inspired from characters on the show.
Skydancer is a very near matte black shaded shadow with just a hint of blue. Perfect Black!
 Skydancer and Lurky Swatch
