Cinco De Mayo Makeup Tutorial - Outfit

Hola My Glamorous Friends,

I am just in time for a Cinco De Mayo post!

This year I choose to update some of my old 'popular' video tutorials since I have changed and learned new ideas. At the end of this post is a video tutorial, please check it out and share!

FELIZ CINCO DE MAYO!!!

For my outfit today, I chose the color scheme of the Mexico flag. I found this cute red sheer paneled bodysuit and thought this is the perfect 'sexy' touch for this type of party look.

Adding the denim jacket gives me the coverage I crave in this uneven weather. The leather belt over the printed skirt is a great way to create shape on a horizonal pattern.

Going along with the theme my accessories have very colorful beads, sequins, and glass.

The bag is a simple clutch that enchances the stripe of yellow in the skirt and accessories.

When I wear something like this with sheer panels, I like to wear lacey rhinestone bras that are the same color as the piece. I feel like it looks more fashionable then just letting things hang all out or wearing a plain tshirt kind of bra. Express yourself even in your under garments. I created the hair piece that I will be showing you how to create very soon. A big red rose is most always my go to flower and really fit this occasion. This one is created from my wedding bouquet ;)

Floral Engagement

Hello my Glamorous Friends!

I love myself a good fashion comeback and this time I chose the crop top!!

Last year when I was pregnant, my goal was to be in one of these

this spring so here is my Floral Engagement. <3

I chose to wear this basic black crop top with a vintage skirt that buttons

at the smallest of the waist for just a hint of skin.

I love to just spin around in a skirt like this! I found this out thrift shopping and it was so
colorful I thought must be meant to be. <3

Where there is a rainbow, there is a way. <3

Peep toe pumps and a simple green clutch is all this outfit needs.

Super simple, I love a classic feminine look for most springtime outings.

I finished off this look with a floral statement necklace and green earrings.

My Rainbow Hair and LOTD

Hello my Glamorous Friends!

I have changed my hair again, I do this just about every 2 weeks

and this time I really like this color mix. It's like a prism! <3 So happy <3

I used Splat Hair Colors Kits: Pink Fetish/ Aqua Rush/ Berry Blast/ Purple Desire

I have been using Splat for a long time and after

using a product you find little things you can do to make it even easier.

I always flatten the box for protection against the product touching my sink.

I also take a piece o the lid and roll it into a funnel with an open side to slip

the bleach powder into the oxide without mess.

Depending on long the product has been on the shelf I always end up discarding some of the oxide, which is good because that means this is a fresh or newer product off the production line. :)

Now it's time for MAKEUP!! :D

Fressia Instinct

Hello my Glamorous Friends!! I am back with a spring beauty post for you.

This one is inspired by the Spring Pantone color Fressia.

This top has two different shoulder looks, I love detail like this.

The fitted flower belt adds that perfect glam touch.

I accesorized with some multi-colored jewelry. I always love some rainbow pieces,

I feel like it adds just that perfect touch to solid colors like these. Besides, sometimes Fressias

are multi colored soooo BOOOOMM!! lol <3

I found this bag while away in NYC, I changed the lock to this vintage Avon one.

I like doing some small alterations to mass marketed bags like this,

to give it my own touch, literally. :D

The makeup here is one of my staple looks. I love wearing a neutral eye with

glitter and a pop of color and bright shiny lips. MUAH <3

Birthday Spirit

Hello my Glamorous Friends!

It's my birthday, well was my birthday on Monday 4/21

and I did a colorful makeup tutorial for you and of coarse an outfit and nails!! :D

I love doing colorful looks. It always makes me feel so good.

I created the daisy headband, which I will being

sharing more about on a new DIY hair accessory post next week :D

This dress just has all the rainbow I love..lol

I call this look Birthday Spirit because it has a tribal earthy feel. :D

For the jewelry I went with the classic bangle bracelets, hoop earrings and, this great 'bug' necklace.

I picked this up at a $1 store a couple of years ago, I thought it was so cool. Bugs are on flowers and flowers are on my dress so it just seemed right with the whole earthy 'spirit' theme. :D

I wore this poncho more like a vest so show off the dress

patterns more, but when it got chilly I threw it on the proper way.

SCCAARRRRYY!! EWWW!!! LOL!!!

I absolutly LOVE this hand beaded purse I got from a friend in Greece. The patterns and colors on the purse meshed well with the dress without taking away to much attention from the main piece.

Frida's Basket

I've always been inspired by Frida and today's look really reminded

me of her and a basket of flowers so here is Frida's Basket.

I adorned my hair with similar colored flowers as the ones

on my dress. I pulled my hair into a ponytail type bun.

My bag is beaded and reminds me of those hanging baskets from

the 70s people would make for their hanging plants..lol

Wearing a dress like this is such a simple way to be comfortable yet glam. I love a good maxi dress and the jean jacket is a staple for every spring wardrobe.

My jewelry is simple costume gold pieces, just a few pieces because the pattern on the dress and the adorned hair is already busy and an accessory in itself.

I don't like wearing heels or wedges with a long dress like this, you can get away with wearing cute flats. I found these vintage 'basket' style flats out thrifting. They are super comfortable and the perfect ending to this outfit.

I went light on the makeup this time but added my green contacts this time to

add more spice to such a simple look.
