Two-Faced Thursday: Day to Night Smokey Looks

Smokey looks from day to night can be as simple as adding a bold lip color,
lashes, and a dash of glitter.
For my day look I went for a subtle smokey eye with a peachy lip and cheeks. Adding just a dash of black on the outer corner and lightly to the lower lashline gives a nice smokey look that isn't too much for the day.
My Beauty Addiction
Shadow Poxy
Shadows: White Diamonds/Chrome/Black Magic
Blush: Innocence
Sugar Babies Lip Glaze: Peach
I applied the black directly over the previous eyeshadows to create this look. I rimmed the eyes in the shadow Black Magic and added Chrome above the crease blending upwards and adding White Diamonds very lightly under the brow. I added silver glitter Star Struck only to the center of the lid to give that extra pop to this smokey eye. I painted my pout with a soft lip gloss called Bombshell. I love how pigmented this gloss is and gives me that perfect moisture and shine.

Wardrobe Wednesday: The Little Black Dress

For this wardrobe post I decided to share my outfit of the day, which was a little black dress. After wearing this before my pregnancy and a couple times during it, I have a full understanding of why every woman needs a 'little black dress'. It just always looks amazing and super classy regardless of your shape or size. It's that one investment you really should make for yourself and can be used so many times for so many different situations. My dress has an inner lining of a stretchy material making it wearable throughout this pregnancy and will bounce back to its original shape after baby.

The dress is by Express and the blazer is by A.Byer.
I adore the chain and cord detail on the neckline, no need for a necklace.
I added my silver glitter pumps and a Chanel bag that has a chain and cord detail.
For my accesories I choose wearing my 3 favorites, the cross, studs, and chanel logos along with a rhinestone and beaded chain bracelet from Avon.
On this day I am 37 weeks and 3 days pregnant! My sweet little one will be here very very soon!

Money-Saving Makeup Monday: Neutral Eyes and Dark Lip

For this money-saving makeup post I went for my go-to look of a neutral eye with a darker lip.

  Loreal-

True Match Foundation
Voluminous Mascara
E.L.F.-
32 Neutral Eye Palette
Sun Kissed Bronzer
Black Liquid Liner
N.Y.C.-
922 Brow Pencil
L.A. Colors-
Sienna Lipstick

This little palette only cost $5. It's filled with all the neurtal shades you could want. I love this because these shadows are very wearable and not to much sparkle and a little bit goes a long way.
I used the 4 shades I have highlighted above.

L.A. Colors makes such awesomely pigmented lipsticks. I like this one because it is extremely opaque and has the shine but no sparkle. Can't beat it at only $1.

Fierce Friday: Dramatic Red & Yellow Makeup and Outfit of the Day

For today's fierce friday post, I went super dramatic on my makeup. I love playing with these shades.
I used colors for the Rainbow Bright Collection that I helped create with My Beauty Addiction.
It's still my favorite collection over a year later. It always gives me that perfect color payoff.

For my outfit, I gave my black and white dress a pop of color with the yellow and punk jewelry. I luckily haven't had to purchase any maternity clothes. Stretchy dresses and leggings have been my fashion staples during this pregnancy. I am currently 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant!! Only a couple more weeks to go!! :)

Two-Faced Thursday: Day to Night Looks

This weeks day to night looks using a few wonderful beauty products.

Using a few keys shades can easily blend and placing them just right can create depth to a simple look. You can see hints of green and orange without actually using those shades. :)

All I needed to add to the night look was a bit more glitter, lashes, liner, and a darker lip shade. I placed them right over the look I wore during the day.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Fall 2013 Fashion Trends

When I shop for the season, I always check out the Pantone Fashion Color Report.
These are the shades that will more then likely be what's available in the stores and online.
If you like to bargain shop or thrift shop like I do, this little report is great to take with you so you can still stay trendy over the season. I put together a short list of trends that I like for the season.

Bold, wild Character prints are a great way to express yourself this season. You can wear a bunch of the items or spruce up something plain by applying one of these pieces to your look.

Bold furs are going to be a great way to keep warm over the fall and winter. Colorful prints and the unaverage colors are going to keep you right on trend. I recommend looking for fake furs.
I really like the idea of the Fur Hawk that Fendi did for his runway.

Girly grunge is making a comeback from the 90s. Hearts, Flowers, and
Stars mixed with black, plaid and tough looking shoes.

Leather skirts are a great way to add warmth  to your outfit but still look stylish.
I like the colored leather alot.

Mesh is making it's comeback as well, try wearing is as an accessory like a belt, shoe, or bag. I would recommend only wearing one mesh piece at a time or you may look costumey.

Navy and hints of navy will keep you right on trend. Navy really matches just about anything. Throw on a navy blazer to spruce up any outfit.

Plaid and Tartan are another way to stay in trend. I love the many different colors and ways you can incorporate this into you daily looks.

Details on shoes, accessories, and tops are what to look for.
Having unique pieces really show off your personal style.

Tribal prints are probably the most easiest and wearable trend that looks great on everyone. They will flooding the stores and actually to me the perfect look for fall.

Tweed in all colors will be a great way to look stylish this fall. I recommend starting with  the classic black and white tweed blazer. It instantly will make an outfit look more chic.

All white everything, this is more of a risky trend because it can go wrong in so many ways. Be sure to wear the proper undergarments and you should be fine as long as your whites match.
This look commands respect. I love it.

The pink trench is a staple for fall, when it gets colder you will need a chic coat thats not to heavy.
There are many different styles of the trench so you will be able to find a style
that matches your personality.
